The earliest SAMARITAN RIDERS of record were founded in 2001. They are a chapter of the Motorcyclist for Jesus Ministries (MJM) in Oklahoma City, OK. The SAMARITAN RIDERS MJM endeavor to give positive direction and counsel on living under the authority of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The HEARTLAND SAMARITAN RIDERS are Chapter #975 of the Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA). The HSR was founded in 2004 when a CMA members wanted to start a chapter in Emporia, KS. Today they have more than 50 members and membership is open to all Christians regardless of what they ride, even if they don’t ride at all.

Bikers with a heart riding for charity – Founded in 2006, the SAMARITAN RIDERS of Belgium are a group of motorcyclists that met through the MAG (the Netherland version of the AMA). They wanted to ride together for charity with the intention of lending a helping hand to the underprivileged and poor people in their community by soliciting people and institutions to help their cause by donating funds or materials to their chosen charity.

The SAMARITANOS BIKERS CLUB is located in Chihuahua Mexico and was founded October 23, 2009. Like us, they reference Luke 10:30 (the parable of the Samaritan). Their motto: ROLL and HELP. They have been doing charitable work since March 2010 and are members of the Union of Bikers.

The GOOD SAMARITAN RIDERS CLUB is located in the Philippines and was founded April 10, 2010. They are open to all who wish to join the group and ride quietly so that all members show the best respect for the people of San Rafael.

The SAMARITAN RIDERS of Honduras are the latest on the radar. Founded in 2015, they appear to do Christian Ministry work… We are still getting to know them.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Turn of the Tap: Safe Water Ride premiered in 2007 and is a way for riders across Canada to raise awareness and funds to help families in the developing world get safe water.
