2019 SAMARITAN SANTA SPECIFIC EVENTS:

October 12 – SAM Santa Toy Run; registration 0900; KSU 1100

  • Tonasket Christmas Tree of Giving.

Our SAM Santa Collection boxes are sponsored by many Tonasket Businesses in support of the Tonasket Christmas Tree of Giving at Beyers Market. They identify families in need through WIC and the school district. The Samaritan Riders of Okanogan are in partnership with local donors, the Tonasket Chamber of Commerce, US Bank and OK Chevrolet who are collection sites for new winter wear and toys for these Tonasket children. Support our SAM’s Special at the Kuhler on Tuesdays where $1 from your meal goes towards the purchase of a toy for a local child.

  • Omak / Okanogan Stuff the Sleigh

Our SAM Santa Collection Boxes are sponsored by many Omak and Okanogan Businesses in support of our STUFF THE SLEIGH CAMPAIGN. This is a collaborative effort with the Christmas Baskets Program in Omak/Okanogan. They identify families in need through DSHS, WIC and the local school districts. The Samaritan Riders of Okanogan are in partnership with local donors, and many businesses including Sunrise Chevrolet, Les Schwab, PJ’s and BBQ and Sears who are collection sites for non-perishable food, new childrens clothing and winter wear and toys for these Omak / Okanogan Children. Support our SAM’s Special at the Roadhouse 97 on Thursdays where $1 from your meal goes towards the purchase of a toy for a local child.

Each year, the SAMARITAN RIDERS of Washington (SROWA) – Okanogan County raise monies to bring Christmas to local socially disadvantaged children through our passive collection jar campaign and collaborative partnerships to accumulate children’s toys, clothing and non-perishable food donations to be paid forward the 2nd or 3rd weekend in December.
